The Role
We are seeking a highly organised Project Administrator to join our growing team based in Yatala QLD. Reporting to the Senior Contract Administrator, this role will support major infrastructure projects and is critical in ensuring the smooth coordination of project documentation, reporting and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and record project costs, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Review, verify, and process invoices from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract terms
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in cost and revenue tracking systems, ensuring all transactions are properly documented
- Analyse revenue and costs associated with projects undertaken and provide insights/comments on any variances
- Prepare and issue purchase orders for external engagements in accordance with procurement policies and authority limits
- Process and maintain contract documentation including dockets, supervisor reports, lot packs, safety records, employee records & other records generated during daily operations
- Act as a point of contact between project teams, subcontractors, and the finance department to resolve payment or cost-related issues
- Other duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in a Project Administrator role and Costing environment (construction or infrastructure industry preferred)
- Strong organisation skills with a high attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience with document management systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines
