Job Description: 

Purpose of the Role

 
The National Sales Manager will lead and deliver a high-performing sales strategy across the UK, driving revenue growth, market share, and customer engagement. This role is accountable for shaping and executing the national sales plan, developing strong client relationships, and ensuring consistent performance across all regions. The position plays a key part in aligning commercial objectives with business strategy, while embedding a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales function.

Main Responsibilities

 
You will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust national sales strategy that delivers sustainable growth and meets financial targets. This includes leading, coaching, and developing a team of sales professionals to maximise performance and capability, as well as building and maintaining strategic relationships with key clients and stakeholders. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and senior leadership to ensure alignment and successful delivery of business objectives. You will monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify opportunities and risks, using data and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making. Ownership of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting is essential, alongside ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Ideal Candidate

 
The ideal candidate will be a commercially astute and results-driven sales leader with a proven track record of delivering national-level growth. You will bring strong leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. A strategic thinker with excellent communication and influencing skills, you will be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and key clients. You will demonstrate strong analytical capability, using data to inform decisions and drive performance improvements. Experience in building long-term customer relationships, managing complex sales cycles, and operating in a fast-paced, competitive environment is essential. A collaborative approach, resilience, and a focus on delivering measurable outcomes will set you apart in this role.

•             A salary of £70,000 - £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
