Job Description: 

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Quality Representative to join our team based in Perth, WA. Reporting to the Major Projects Manager and working as a full-time member of the surfacing crew, the primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all evidence during site inspections is reported promptly and recorded accurately.

 

This role will suit a candidate who possesses strong attention to technical detail and enjoys a field-based role in construction.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Ensure project quality inspections/ audits are completed
  • Assist operational team members with entering incidents (quality, safety, and environment)
  • Ensure all NCRs are raised across the project
  • Support and drive quality investigations across the team to provide prompt close out of quality issues and non-conformances
  • Monitor and review compliance to relevant specifications and ensure they meet the minimum project standards and policies
  • Monitor and review current SWMS and SOPs across project site
  • Check weekly toolbox talks have been conducted, and any quality issues have been communicated with crews
  • Support employees with training analysis
  • Monitor and review employees’ licences, VOCs, and other competencies as per requirements
  • Engage with customers to deliver project documentation as requested

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • Previous experience working with asphalt and bituminous products
  • Previous experience working in a Field Testing / QA role
  • Current Australian driver’s license
  • White Card
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
  • Strong in team dynamic
  • Highly factual and not emotive
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to deliver with little supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
