Job Description: 

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and influential HSEQR Manager to join our team in Kwinana, Western Australia. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this critical leadership role will be responsible for driving a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance, continuous improvement and operational excellence across Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Risk (HSEQR).
 
This position will work closely with employees, contractors, clients and leadership teams to develop and maintain effective management systems, provide expert advice, and ensure the business continues to achieve the highest standards of safety, environmental responsibility and quality performance.
 
Key Responsibilities Include:
 
  • Lead and promote a strong safety, quality and environmental culture across the business.
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve WHSEQR systems, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, contractual and company requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance the Integrated Business Management System (IBMS).
  • Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead incident investigations and oversee corrective and preventative actions.
  • Monitor and report on WHSEQR performance, trends and key metrics.
  • Provide expert WHSEQR advice and support to managers and employees.
  • Deliver WHSEQR training, coaching and awareness programs.
  • Maintain ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications.
  • Manage WHSEQR documentation, records and reporting systems, including Donesafe.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, contractors, clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Support business objectives by driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

 

  • Diploma level qualifications in WHS.
  • Investigators Qualification.
  • Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment.
  • 5 years proven experience in a senior HSE, HSEQ or HSEQR management position.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian workplace health and safety, environmental and quality legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining integrated management systems and ISO certifications.
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and reporting capabilities.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and culture development.
