Job Description: 

The Role

We are seeking a highly organised Contract Administrator to join our team based in Perth, WA. Reporting to the Major Projects Manager, this role will support a major infrastructure project and is critical in ensuring the smooth coordination of project documentation, reporting and administrative processes.

 

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months with the view to be extended.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

 

  • Monitor and record project costs, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
  • Review, verify, and process invoices from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract terms
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in cost and revenue tracking systems, ensuring all transactions are properly documented
  • Analyse revenue and costs associated with projects undertaken and provide insights/comments on any variances
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders for external engagements in accordance with procurement policies and authority limits
  • Process and maintain contract documentation including dockets, supervisor reports, lot packs, safety records, employee records & other records generated during daily operations
  • Act as a point of contact between project teams, subcontractors, and the finance department to resolve payment or cost-related issues
  • General office upkeep duties

 

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • Previous experience in a Contract Administrator role and/or Costing environment (construction or infrastructure industry preferred)
  • Strong organisation skills with a high attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience with document management systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines
