Work Permit Coordinator

The Work Permit Coordinator role supports the safe and compliant execution of construction activities within the Abo Qir project under the joint venture between Colas Rail and Orascom Construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage Permit-to-Work (PTW) processes for site activities.

  • Ensure all permits comply with project safety standards and construction regulations.

  • Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and safety personnel to facilitate work approvals.

  • Monitor permit documentation and maintain accurate records.

  • Support site coordination activities related to high-risk operations.

  • Ensure adherence to project procedures, operational requirements, and HSE standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong understanding of Permit-to-Work systems and construction safety regulations.

  • Knowledge of high-risk construction activities and associated control measures.

  • Previous experience in construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.

  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders on-site.

  • Good organizational and documentation skills.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
