Site Facilities Manager

Position: Site Facilities Manager
Reports to: JV Director

Role Purpose
Responsible for the end-to-end management of all main storage areas for the Cairo Metro renovation project, including site layout, equipment and fleet, logistics, temporary facilities, materials and inventory, waste management, site restoration, HSE, and financial management. The role ensures safe, timely, and efficient integration across POW, MEP, OCS, CW, and TW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning & Site Layout: Develop and validate storage-area execution plans and layouts along the metro line; allocate construction equipment/plants to sub-systems; establish new storage zones with appropriate access, security, temporary facilities, and workflow.

  • Equipment & Fleet: Manage heavy equipment and vehicles, including trucks, cranes, Unimogs, lifting platforms, GenSets, and wagons; oversee maintenance schedules and ensure mandatory inspection/certification of lifting equipment.

  • Logistics: Ensure logistics coverage across the full line; coordinate lifting, loading/unloading, and material movement by road or track to support timely delivery to worksites.

  • Temporary Facilities: Provide and maintain site offices, welfare units, temporary power and lighting, access roads, fencing, security barriers, cleaning, and site security.

  • Materials & Inventory: Manage material reception, inspection, storage, and stock levels; implement MonStock; ensure proper storage according to supplier recommendations; coordinate handover to NAT of dismantled materials including cables, transformers, cubicles, switchgears, chillers, pipes, fans, AHUs, and FCUs.

  • Waste & Restoration: Supervise waste collection, segregation, and legal disposal; execute final site restoration and handover in compliance with environmental requirements.

  • HSE & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, particularly for heavy machinery and lifting; conduct safety audits and risk assessments; ensure compliance with Egyptian regulations and international safety standards.

  • Financial Management: Monitor the warehouse budget and propose savings/recovery plans; support costing of client Change Requests; document client/third-party disturbances for Claims.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.

  • 12–15 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership role on railway/metro projects.

  • 3 years’ experience in site preparation, mobilization, and logistics support.

  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
